My love for the piano started at eight years old, playing by ear before I ever had a lesson — and it never stopped. Through school, church, and years of playing in bands and musical groups, the piano became less a hobby and more a lifelong relationship, one I still carry into every appointment today.

That relationship shapes how I approach the work. I believe every piano — whether a small home spinet or a full concert grand — deserves to feel and sound like an instrument worth sitting down to play, no matter the skill level of the person playing it. That's the standard I hold myself to on every job.

My career as a piano technician began in 2005, training under acclaimed piano rebuilder AC Pianocraft in New York City. I've called Nashville home since 2010, and for more than 20 years now I've served pianos in homes, churches, retail showrooms, studios, and schools throughout Middle Tennessee. I'm a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) with the Piano Technicians Guild — its highest level of certification — and served as President of the Nashville Chapter from 2024 to 2026.

There's nothing quite like watching someone sit down at their piano and hear it respond the way it's supposed to for the first time in years — that reaction is still what makes this work worthwhile, and I look forward to bringing it to yours next.

Originally from Western North Carolina, I've been passionate about music for as long as I can remember. I moved to Nashville in 2014 chasing opportunities in the music industry — piano technician work wasn't part my the plan.

That changed when Jon Loyd, RPT, a friend and mentor in the piano technician community, introduced me to the trade. I studied under Jon as he helped me develop my skills, and what started as an unexpected opportunity quickly became a genuine passion. I've been a member of the Piano Technicians Guild since 2020, dedicating my time to improving the sound and playability of every instrument I work on.

I look forward to connecting with people who cherish the pianos they play, and I make it my mission to improve their instruments in ways they didn't know were possible.
